TekstiAI Product Update – October 2026
October brought a more reliable document editor, a unified Projects experience and new customisation options for the widget and SharePoint. Organisation admins now get better visibility into usage, and the Search assistant is officially available.

The end of the year is already in sight, and many organizations are caught up in the busy year-end period: wrapping up this year's goals while turning sights and budgets toward 2027. Here at TekstiAI, we want to make sure you have the best possible tools to succeed.
We continuously develop our product based on user feedback to make your everyday workflows as smooth and effortless as possible. Over the past few weeks, we have rolled out another batch of requested improvements. Here is an overview of our key updates from October!
Document editor
We fixed a bug where an application or other long document could open empty even though its text was saved. The text now appears reliably, and the saved content is never changed.
Pending changes stay in place while you scroll. The section actions (Ask AI, Copy, Rationale) stay in place while you use them. Before you send your next message, the editor asks whether to accept the open change, restore the previous version or cancel sending.
The preview of long documents shows sections in the right order, and metadata is clearly separated from the document text.
General
Projects and task boards
The interface now calls workspaces Projects everywhere. Old links redirect to the new addresses.
On the task board you can filter the view to Only my cards and pick a due date from a full date field. The person who creates a card is automatically set as its assignee.
Chat
A topic's question templates now appear above the input field rather than inside it, and a template can span several lines.
Previous chats open faster.
Better visibility across your organisation
Organisation admins can now see Usage stats without a separate setting. Widget statistics have their own tab for source references and a date range picker. The wide daily view no longer forces horizontal scrolling.
Widget
You can let users drag the side chat handle vertically out of the way. The colour of the Send button icon can now be set in the widget's appearance settings.
In the SharePoint widget, pressing Enter now sends the message, which feels more natural to users. If a page has been open for a long time, it fetches a new sign-in token before making a request, so the conversation isn't cut off by an expired session.
Search assistant
The Search assistant was officially launched on October 5. It lets you search documents, choose your sources and generate an answer based on them. On mobile, the thinking effort is shown as an icon instead of a long label.
